09:36 Tadcaster Road, York A crew from Acomb responded to a request for assistance from ambulance crews in gaining entry to a residential property where there was concerns for the occupant. Crews established contact with the occupant and left them in the care of paramedics. No fire service action was required.

09:54 Sackville Street, Skipton A crew from Skipton responded to a report of an alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes, advice was given.

10:56 West Avenue, Filey A crew from Filey responded to a request from ambulance crews to assist with moving a casualty who had fallen approximately 15 feet into a basement stairwell whilst working up a ladder. The male casualty sustained possible spinal injuries and a head wound from the fall. Ambulance crews immobilised the casualty to allow the fire service crews to move the casualty. Crews used working at height gear, a triple extension ladder and casualty sheets to lift the casualty from the basement and transferred him into the ambulance to be transported to hospital for treatment.

11:04 Ruffa Lane, PickeringA crew from Pickering responded to a request from a community nurse to assist in gaining entry to a property where there were concerns for the occupant. Crews gained entry using a triple extension ladder and left the incident in the hands of ambulance crews and the community nurse.

12:04 Filey Fire Station A crew from Filey assisted a female who self presented to the fire station with a ring that was stuck on her finger. Crews removed the ring using ring cutters.

12:44 Northallerton Road, Dalton on TeesA crew from Northallerton along with a crew from Darlington responded to a report of a single vehicle RTC involving a 3 wheeled motorcycle that had crashed into a hedge after the rider had experienced a medical episode. Crews provided first aid assistance and assisted ambulance crews to stabilise the casualty to be transported to hospital.

13:22 New Road, HunmanbyCrews from Filey and Scarborough responded to a report of a fire seen in a field of recently cut crop. Crews extinguished the fire measuring 200m x 200m that had spread from a controlled burn using beaters and hose reel jets. Crews also dampened the area down.

14:26 Water End, York A crew from Acomb and the fire service boat from York responded to a report of a distressed female who was on the wrong side of the railings on a bridge. Crews stood by and liaised with police and ambulance crews on scene. The female made her own way to the right side of the railings and was taken into the care of ambulance crews.

15:10 Foss Bank, York Crews from Huntington and Acomb responded to a report of fusebox on fire inside a commercial premises. Crews located fuse box that had been on fire but was out on their arrival. The fire had caused minimal damage to electrical insulation. Crews carried out an inspection and left the incident with a responsible person awaiting the arrival of an electrician.

15:43 High Street, Catterick Crews from Richmond and Bedale responded to a report of smoke seen coming from the vicinity of a barn. Crews located a building measuring 5mx 5m well alight. Crews extinguished the fire and dampened down whilst checking for hotspots. Crews liaised with a responsible person who confirmed that the fire had been lit deliberately, advice was given.
